BARBER: That's great, Bill.
LOITERER:
Stan, I pulled on the line, and the fish went into the boat. But don't think that this is the end of it. That carp was still jumping around, jabbing and hooking, looking just like Joe Louis.
BARBER:
That's great, Bill.
LOITERER: I had to think fast. Danger was looking me straight in the face, and he wore a smooth tweed jacket. I pull out my pocketknife, hold the fish to the ground, and Stan, I stab the fish in the eye near seventy times. And that was the 40th fish I ever caught.
BARBER: That's great, Bill.
